Terms & Refunds

The service
Shirvani (shirvani.app) is a free travel map and journal run by an individual developer. You can use it without an account (data stays on your device) or with an account (Google, or email and password). The core features are free and there are no ads.
Your content
You keep all rights to the trips, notes, photos and videos you add. You give us permission to store them and to show them to you — and, only if you turn on a public profile, to the people who open your profile link. Please upload only content you have the right to share, and nothing illegal, hateful or harmful. We may hide public profiles or remove content that breaks these rules, and close accounts that abuse the service.
Supporter pack
The Supporter pack is an optional one-time purchase (no subscription) that supports the development and hosting of Shirvani. It currently includes: an extra 1 GB of photo and video storage (1.3 GB in total), map colour themes, a printable poster of your map, and a Supporter badge on your public profile. The pack is tied to the account you are signed in with when you buy it.
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, which also takes care of sales tax and VAT. Their buyer terms apply to the purchase. Prices are shown including tax.
Refunds
If you are not happy, you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase — no questions asked. Just reply to your receipt email or write to us at the address below. After a refund the Supporter perks are removed; photos you uploaded stay, but you cannot add more while you are over the standard 300 MB limit.
Availability
We do our best to keep Shirvani running and your data safe (including regular backups), but the service is provided “as is”, without guarantees. Please keep your own backup too (Settings → Backup). If we ever have to shut Shirvani down, we will give at least 60 days’ notice so you can export your data.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Features of the Supporter pack you already bought will not be taken away while the service runs.
