Why “Shirvani”
Named after a traveller who wrote the “Gardens of Travel”
Zeynalabdin Shirvani was born in Shamakhi in 1780 and spent nearly forty years on the road — across the Middle East, India and Africa. He wrote down what he saw in books he called Riyaz as-Siyahat and Bustan as-Siyahat: the gardens of travel.
Shirvani is a place to grow your own garden of journeys — and to remember every one of them.
